The Florida Online Law Firm’s founder, Scott A. Selis, graduated from Florida State University in 1985 with a degree in criminology. Scott graduated from Stetson University’s College of Law in December, 1988.

Scott began his practice in 1989 as a personal injury and workers’ compensation litigator representing insurance companies. Since then, Scott has helped people and companies in employment disputes, development of employee policy manuals, discrimination matters, violation of non-compete agreements, undisputed divorce, landlord-tenant disputes, Corporate and LLC Formations and Estate Planning Matters.

Scott is also involved in the community. Scott is a former City Commissioner of Ormond Beach, and he serves on the board of directors for several charitable organizations. Scott is on the Executive Board of the Florida Hospital Foundation, and he serves as chairman of the Florida Hospital Foundation's Financial Advisor's committee for Ormond Beach Memorial Hospital's Foundation. Scott also serves on the Board of Directors of the Central Florida Better Business Bureau.
